This glowing jade stone comes from the largest Jade mine in British Columbia, CA and is old stock that was mined in the 1980's. I hand cut it into the diamond shape to echo the lines of the more geometric hand stamped setting. Jade has a rich history and used to be more valuable than gold in some parts of the world. Many have thought it to be a talisman of protection for the living and dead and a stone of good luck and fortune thoroughout the ages. This ring is hand fabricated from fine and sterling silver and is a size 7. the back of the bezel rests comfortably on the finger in a low profile setting with a soldered together, double knife edge band. It has been oxidized and polished to bring out detail and make the stone really pop.
